Two License Types

Licensing

CGHEVEN uses two license types depending on the asset. Check the license tag on each asset page before use.

CC0

Free Assets: CC0 (Public Domain)

All assets in the CGHEVEN free tier, and all approved user-generated content published on CGHEVEN, are released under Creative Commons Zero (CC0).

What you CAN do:

Use in any project, personal or commercial
Modify, remix, and build upon the asset
Redistribute your modified creations
No attribution required (though credit is appreciated)

What you CANNOT do:

Resell the asset as a standalone product on marketplaces like TurboSquid or CGTrader
Claim you created the original CGHEVEN asset
Hold CGHEVEN liable for issues arising from its use ("as-is")

Pro

Pro / Paid Assets: CGHEVEN Royalty-Free License

Assets published under a CGHEVEN Pro subscription or paid tier are not CC0. They are covered by a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable royalty-free license.

What you CAN do:

Use the asset in commercial and non-commercial Productions: films, games, broadcast, YouTube and social content, tutorials, animations, and similar final output
Use it for client work, including work you are paid for
Modify the asset as needed for your Production

What you CANNOT do:

Resell, redistribute, or share the asset as a standalone downloadable file, on any platform, marketplace, or website
Include the asset in a template, asset pack, or plugin sold or distributed to others
Use the asset to train, build, or enhance any AI model, dataset, or competing asset library
Sublicense, lease, or transfer your license to another person or account
Share your CGHEVEN account or its downloaded assets outside your own licensed use

Attribution: Not required for Pro assets.

Team accounts: License applies to seats on the account plan. Downloaded assets stay tied to the account, not to be shared outside the team.

No warranty: Assets are provided "as-is." CGHEVEN is not liable for damages, compatibility issues, or losses arising from asset use.

✓ Using an asset in your commercial game, film, or client project
✓ Modifying a 3D model or VFX element for your own Production
✓ Including assets in a YouTube video or tutorial
✓ Sharing your finished work (with the asset embedded in it) on ArtStation or social media

Not Allowed (Free and Pro)

✗ Uploading CGHEVEN assets, free or paid, to another asset store or marketplace
✗ Selling CGHEVEN assets as-is, individually or bundled
✗ Claiming authorship of the original file
✗ Using assets to train or build a competing library or AI tool
✗ Removing license terms from redistributed CC0 files

New assets released under Pro/paid tiers: CGHEVEN Royalty-Free License
