Browse and download the whole CGHEVEN library without leaving DaVinci Resolve. Drag VFX straight onto the timeline when you want speed, or take 3D models and VDB volumetrics into Fusion when you want node-based control. Everything imports with the right setup already applied.

For straightforward shots, pull a VFX clip onto the timeline and keep cutting. The asset arrives ready to go, so there is no node tree to wire up.

Volumetric fire, smoke, and explosions import as real VDBs into Fusion. The shader is set up automatically, so the volume looks right the moment it lands.
3D models import into Fusion
Bring in FBX, OBJ, and USD models with their textures intact and composite them on the Fusion page. Pair them with VDBs for full 3D scenes inside Resolve.
The formats and resolutions you need
Assets come as MOV, EXR, VDB, and standard 3D formats at 1K and 2K for free. Pro adds 4K, EXR sequences, and 8K textures on hero assets.

How it works
From install to your first shot in minutes
Install the add-on, open the library, and start pulling VFX into the timeline or Fusion.

Install from the DaVinci Resolve Hub
Open the DaVinci Resolve Hub, search for CGHEVEN, and click install. The add-on loads right inside Resolve.

Open the CGHEVEN panel
Launch the CGHEVEN library from the panel. It opens straight away with no login needed to browse and download the free tier.

Filter and download
Narrow by category, resolution, and format, then click any asset to save it to your local library folder.

Use it in the timeline or Fusion
Drag a VFX clip onto the timeline for a quick edit, or take 3D models and VDBs into Fusion for node-based compositing. Adjust from there.
FAQ
DaVinci Resolve add-on questions, answered
Do I need to sign up to use the DaVinci Resolve add-on?
No. Download the add-on and start right away. The free tier with 1K and 2K assets needs zero signup. You only log in for Pro features like 4K, EXR sequences, and new weekly content.
Is the add-on free forever?
Yes. The add-on itself is free, and all assets stay free at 1K and 2K resolution. 4K, EXR sequences, and new content need a Pro plan at five dollars a month, which you can cancel any time.
Which version of DaVinci Resolve is supported?
DaVinci Resolve Studio 19.0 and later. Support for the free version of Resolve is on the way.
Can I use the assets in commercial projects?
Yes. Every CGHEVEN asset is CC0, so you can use it in client edits, broadcast work, games, and film. Credit is appreciated but not required.
Do I need separate plans for the other add-ons?
No. One Pro plan unlocks the Blender, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, and Premiere Pro add-ons under a single account.
Can I import 3D models into Fusion with their textures?
Yes. FBX, OBJ, and USD models all import into the Fusion page with textures intact, so you can composite them in 3D right inside Resolve.
Are the VDBs pre-lit?
Yes. Volumetric fire, smoke, and explosions get an auto-shader applied on import, so they read correctly straight away. You can adjust the lighting afterward.
How does cross-add-on sync work?
When you download an asset in the Blender add-on, it saves to a shared local folder. The DaVinci Resolve add-on reads that same folder, so the asset appears here automatically with no second download.
