Hello everyone, welcome to Class 10.
In today's class, we are going to learn how to animate objects in CapCut.
We will create one animation using keyframes.
Step 1: Import Your Object
- Bring the object you want to animate onto the board.
- Example: a football.
- Remove any watermark by tapping on it and deleting it.
Step 2: Decide the Animation Path
- Before animating, decide what you want to animate.
- Example: We want the football to move from top to bottom.
- Set the starting point: place the football at the top.
Step 3: Add the First Keyframe
- Tap the keyframe button on the right side next to the play button.
- This will add a keyframe at the starting position.
Step 4: Set the Ending Point
- Move the video forward in the timeline.
- Drag the football to the ending point (e.g., center of the screen).
- A keyframe is automatically created at this new position.
- Play the video to see the football animation from top to center.
Step 5: Add More Complex Motion
- To make the football move up and down, leave a little gap and add another keyframe.
- Drag the football to the desired position (e.g., bottom).
- Play the video to see the animation in action.
Step 6: Control Speed
- Spacing between keyframes controls speed:
- Keyframes far apart → animation slower
- Keyframes close together → animation faster
- Example:
- A keyframe at the top, then another far away at the bottom → slow fall.
- Keyframes close together for a quick bounce → fast motion.
- You can change directions by adding keyframes at new positions to create dynamic movement.
Step 7: Practice
- The key to smooth animations is practicing keyframe placement and timing.
- Experiment with different gaps between keyframes to control speed and movement.
Closing Notes
- Download CapCut from the Sidebar.
