Hello everyone, welcome to Class 13.
In today’s class, we are going to learn how to add fake effects to your videos in CapCut.
By “fake effects,” I mean things like shake effects, blood effects, blur effects, and more.
Step 1: Import Your Video
- Import your video into CapCut.
- Remove the watermark as the first step: tap on it at the end and delete it.
Step 2: Decide What Effect to Add
- Watch your video and choose where you want the effect.
- Example: when a person raises their finger, you want a shake effect at that moment.
Step 3: Apply Effects
- Go to the Tools panel → tap Effects → select Video Effects.
- You’ll see many effect templates. Choose one to apply.
- For Shake Effects:
- Type “Shake” in the search bar.
- Tap on the desired shake effect to apply it.
Step 4: Adjust Effect Settings
- Tap on the applied effect to adjust:
- Speed → controls how fast the effect moves
- Intensity → controls how strong the effect appears
Tip:
- For realistic results, keep speed moderate and adjust intensity to match the video action.
Step 5: Position the Effect
- Hold the effect and drag it along the timeline to align it with the action (e.g., when the finger goes up).
- To apply the effect to:
- Main Video → only the current clip
- All Video → all clips in the project
Tip: Use layers to precisely control the timing and position of each effect.
Step 6: Apply Multiple Effects
- You can apply different effects in different parts of the video.
- Example:
- Shake effect at the finger movement
- Blood effect after the impact
- Focus effect on the action
Important: Don’t add effects randomly; use them only where they enhance the video.
Step 7: Final Check
- Play the video and ensure effects appear exactly where you want them.
- Adjust speed, intensity, and duration if needed.
Closing Notes
- Adding effects carefully can dramatically enhance your video.
- Random or excessive effects can make the video look messy or boring.
- Download CapCut via the link in the sidebar.
Thanks for watching, and see you in the next class. Goodbye!
