1. Scene Setup

  • Open your Blender scene.
  • Delete all default extra nodes.
  • Import your character or 3D object:
  • Right-click → Import → choose your file.

2. Simulation Domain

  • Add a domain node.
  • Set domain size according to requirement: 300 x 200 x 50.
  • This creates the bounding box for your simulation.

3. Smoke Emitter

  • Add Emitter Volume.
  • Shape: Box, Height: 0.5.
  • Set Emission:
  • Fuel emission: No fire, only smoke.
  • Density: 200%.
  • Check simulation: press R + Space Bar.

4. Adding Force

  • Add Force Drag Node → choose Force Line.
  • Direction: downward
  • Either rotate, transform, or apply a negative value → -200.
  • Optional: add repel force.
  • Press the Space Bar to check the effect.

5. Keyframing Force

  • Go to Force Line → Force Activity.
  • Enable/disable at specific frames to control simulation timing.
  • Press R + Space Bar to preview animation.

6. Smoke Color

  • Go to Shader Editor → Smoke Tab.
  • Use Color Ramp → set as Exposed Color Gradient.
  • Connect the gradient to the Smoke node.
  • Choose the desired color; black smoke is the default in this case.

7. Fire Emitter (From Character)

  • Add Emitter Volume for fire.
  • Geometry: connect to Character Shape.
  • Emission: Fire only, disable smoke.
  • Add Force Line if needed for fire movement.
  • Press R + Space Bar to preview.
