What This Video Covers

  • Creating an architectural 3D model step-by-step in Blender
  • Answering viewer questions and providing help via comments
  • Preparing a clean Blender scene by deleting all default objects

Modeling Steps Included

  • Adding a plane and switching to vertex mode
  • Using Ctrl + Shift + B to bevel vertices (2 segments, then 4 segments)
  • Scaling vertices outward for shape refinement
  • Rotating the mesh 45 degrees
  • Deleting half of the vertices and closing the mesh using F (fill)
  • Moving the mesh on the X-axis for proper alignment

Using the Spin Tool

  • Switching to the front view
  • Setting the spin direction to the Y-axis
  • Adjusting rotation to 90°
  • Using 8 steps for the spin mesh generation

Extrusion & Face Work

  • Using X-ray mode to select bottom vertices
  • Extruding downward using E
  • Selecting start and end faces and extruding upward
  • Flattening faces with S → Z → 0
  • Applying all transforms with Ctrl + A → Apply All.

Modifiers Used

  • Adding Mirror Modifier (with Clipping)
  • Adding Array Modifier (10 copies for the circular structure)
  • Adding Simple Deform Modifier
  • Mode: Bend
  • Axis: Z
  • Angle: 360°
  • Applying all modifiers

Final Cleanup

  • Entering vertex mode
  • Merging Vertices Using M → By Distance
  • Using merge value: 0.0001
